From the Battlefield to the Boardroom

Jon Barth, Vice President of RBC Commercial Banking has been with RBC for over 20 years and has been a leader in business markets for 7 of those years. Jon has also been a member of the Canadian Army Reserves for over 27 years and has been in leadership roles for over 20 years. During his army career Jon deployed to 2 different conflict zones. In 1993 Jon deployed to Croatia as a machine gunner and was involved in the now famed Medak Pocket battle. Jon spent most of 2008 in Afghanistan where he led 24 combat missions and was 2nd in command of another 24 missions.
